It's a boy!!!
8:24 a.m. 2005-04-29

Well finally the first foal of the summer was born April 27, 05 at our farm!! I have waited for this foal for three and a half weeks. Sprit is doing well with the new colt. She is such a good mom.
The colt is no name right now (NEEDS NAME) he is a strong healthy colt. I was hoping for a filly but Spirit gives lots of colts apparently.
He is going to turn grey just like his mommy!!
I’ve been out every day playing with him, he is so friendly. Spirit does not mind people in her pen.
I took Kaley out to see the foal and asked her what we should name him, Kaley replied with “mmmm probably “FREEZE” …….Some how I can’t see it sticking!
So now we need a name for this lil fella, I was thinking MIDNIGHT THYME” because of Kajun (but I don’t use Kajun as his show name I use MIDNIGHT JUSTICE”)
But still it’s cute. Other than that I’m not sure what he is going to get for a name. Open for suggestions!!
Now our next foal will be in May,
Kricket is the next one and I think it’s going to be late May (just a guess though)
